Wow this website has really come on and you should be very proud of your achievements. I have just looked at the photos section and there is one of Mr Gede and his family that brought back very happy memories. It has made me decide that hopefully, I will visit him again ( for the third time) and catch up one day.
Well done and continue the hard work. PS, a message to all the new people that will be visiting soon ...... You will have such a brilliant time with Mr Gede and I know that you won't want to leave!!.

Nice to read these good comments in the guestbook! This year we didn't go to Indonesia. But we got some nice pictures from a dutch family who has visted Gede. I will put these on the website soon. I am also working on the LINKS section.

Having stumbled upon this website recently I have decided to stay a couple of nights in November at Mr Gede's Homestay. It looks so cute and welcoming and Ketut will be meeting me at the Perama Shuttlebus stop.
I am really looking forward to it. They all seem such wonderful people.

It's a great place to stay, Gede is one of the most helpfull men I met during my seven month holiday. He learned me a bit to play the Gamelan. Told me all the places to visit, showed me little roads to drive, ...
One thing is sure, a very good place to stay.

We found this lovely Homestay by chance in 1998 on our way back from Java. Over the years we have met some really lovely travellers from all over the world while staying at Gede Homestay. We have just come back from staying a week up there and Mama Gede put on the best birthday party ever for our brother-in-law, one we are sure he will never forget.
Mama made the most beautiful offering for the party. I must say Gede's Restaurant has the best Pepes Ikan in the whole of Bali. Mama, Niluh, Annie & Kadek are excellent cooks. Gede & Ketut will take you anywhere you wish, nothing is to much trouble for them as they are only to willing to make your stay memorable.
There is nothing more relaxing than watching the terrific sunsets and the fishing boats going out from the homestay's beachfront restaurant. We loved walking along the seashore in the late afternoon when the tide was out and the children were on the reef catching the little fish left behind in the rock pools. There is a little fishing village along the beach near the reef with a couple of Warungs, where no tourist ever to stop to buy so if you are up that way maybe you could purchase a drink or two and stop to have a chat with these interesting people and it would just make their life a little bit easier.
Well we could never say enough about Gede's Homestay so I hope we have not bored anyone with our memories of this wonderful place. Thank you Bjorn for creating this website for Gede as he told us how you set it up for him and he is very pleased with it.

I stayed with Gede in 1992 and again in 1993. It is great to see the
Homestay has grown and looks so beautiful.Gede is the best host in Bali and
will certainly look after you any way he can 
One day I will come back my friend and share a beer or maybe some palm wine
on your lovely beach

My family recently spent four nights at Gede Homestay. We had a wonderful
time and Mr Gede is a delight - he made us feel very welcome and right at
home. If I go back to Lovina I would stay there again!
